Doesnt work without headphones

The app says if your headphone jack is in the way of your mic then records and playback with headphones, the app does not allow this. The record button is disabled unless headphones are plugged in. In addition the record option does not even work with headphones. The will show heartbeat but does not record for playback.
I give this 1 star only because there is no option for zero.

DONT waste your money.
